We have been to Doughiska Playground a lot, it is a favourite in our family.
It's located on a very large site off Doughiska Road. Beside the road are the tennis courts and skate boarding area.
There is a large green area with benches between the skate boarding area and the rest of  playground.

The playground has a variety of equipment for all age groups.

For the younger children there is an enclosed area with small swing and slides.
There is also a sand section where there are diggers to dig & dump the sand and pulleys to lift the sand up and pour through the pipe, which is very popular with the younger kids.

The in-ground trampoline allows small people to bounce with out fear of them falling off.

The equipment is well spaced out over the playground area and includes a tyre swing, a "nest" swing, a cage that spins and 2 zip lines which provide the added challenge of beating your friend as you zip along, there are see-saws, and climbing pyramid and 2 slides built in to the side of the hill, and our family favourite the hamster wheel.

Due to the proximately to Briarhill Shopping centre, it is very easy to put together a quick picnic and spend a few hours exploring all the different equipment in the playground.
